Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Lilliput and AV Matrix stand at MPTS 2026. It was a privilege to celebrate ten years of the show and to spend two days championing broadcast and media production excellence in the UK. As always, we valued listening to customers, understanding their video production workflows, and discussing how Lilliput’s range of production video monitors and AV Matrix’s commitment to the NDI® ecosystem can help teams focus on the highest quality video content.
Monitors that move with the job
It was heartening to hear stories of how Lilliput monitors are core to the daily work of our customers’ video production. Moving from pole-mounts, to rack-mounts, to director tents, to video villages, our customers told us how Lilliput video monitors constantly adapt to the demands of the project. This is testament to supporting the latest video standards and mounting options. Lilliput monitors are designed to integrate across that variety of broadcast and live event roles over their working life.
We debuted the Lilliput UQ19 to demonstrate the high brightness, high contrast, HDR, 10-bit LCD panel and durable carry case. The UQ-range now becomes Lilliput’s flagship product set, featuring the latest display and portability technology.

NDI® from lecture halls to greenfield broadcast
NDI® is firmly established in multi-camera broadcast and streaming environments, from lecture halls and places of worship to amateur sports and corporate events. The ease and speed of deploying NDI®-compatible peripherals into a workflow remains one of the strongest reasons to design around NDI®. NDI® HX3 has brought that convenience to budget-sensitive projects that still need efficient bitrates without giving up a polished on-screen result.
Our discussions with engineers planning large-scale broadcast infrastructure showed growing interest in NDI® for new builds, not only add-ons. Many cited the latency and image quality they see from NDI® High Bandwidth as visually imperceptible in their production checks, and NDI® describes that format as almost lossless, which pairs well with the comparative affordability of extending a system with more endpoints on ordinary computer networks. On the stand we reinforced AV Matrix’s NDI® commitment with the AV Matrix DE20-4K and AV Matrix DE21-4K PRO to encode and decode existing HD and 4K sources, alongside the PKC3500 and PKC4000 PTZ camera controllers so visitors could see control, transport, and monitoring in one conversation.

Budgets in 2026 and 2027
Engineers told us they value Lilliput’s and AV Matrix’s compliance with broadcast technical standards, from signal integrity to colour accuracy, and buyers told us they appreciate the rapid availability and great value from Lilliput’s network of local experts. As broadcast procurement decisions get scrutinised through 2026 and 2027, both engineers and buyers were relieved to hear that Lilliput and AV Matrix hold firm on being a great-value option, without compromising on quality or standards compliance.
