Lilliput UK today announces the 819, an 8 inch industrial monitor built for demanding environments. 1000 cd/m² brightness, 50,000 h LED backlight, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coating. Available with or without a 10-point PCAP touch screen. The 819H is the sibling with an IP65 front panel (water and dust resistant) for wash-down and outdoor installations.

Built for the production line
The 819 is built to run continuously on the production floor. The 1000 cd/m² panel stays readable under factory lighting. At 50,000 h rated backlight life, it is designed for long-term deployment without servicing. The anti-glare, anti-fingerprint coating keeps the surface legible through repeated handling during a shift.
819H with IP65 front panel
The 819H is a separate product with an IP65 front panel (water and dust resistant). HDMI, USB-A for touch, and DC power are on a breakout cable, so the chassis has no exposed rear ports. Suitable for food production, packaging, and wash-down environments. The 819 remains the chassis model with HDMI, VGA, and USB-C on the unit.
10-point PCAP touch screen
A touch screen variant is available with a 10-point projected capacitive screen, optically bonded to the panel to reduce parallax and minimise the air gap that collects condensation and contaminants. Suitable for gloved use in industrial HMI applications.
DC 9 to 36V: designed for in-vehicle and cab use
The 819 accepts DC 9 to 36V, compatible with 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems. Lilliput's high-brightness monitors are well established in cab and in-vehicle applications where panel brightness and a reliable wide-voltage input are both required. The 8 inch 4:3 format suits instrument panel integration, forklift and machine cab displays, and vehicle-mounted HMI terminals.
Connectivity that integrates into your production line
Three video inputs on the 819 cover the range of host systems found in industrial installations: HDMI up to 2160p, VGA for legacy industrial PCs and PLCs, and USB Type-C for video and touch over a single cable. A built-in speaker, HDMI audio, and a 3.5 mm earphone jack are standard on the chassis. The 819H has no chassis earphone jack; audio is HDMI and the built-in speaker, with video on the HDMI breakout cable.
Compact format, VESA 75 mounting
At 205 x 164.5 x 33 mm and 750 g, the 819 fits tight panel cutouts and compact mounting arrangements. VESA 75 x 75 mm mounting is standard. Optional accessories include a remote control, VESA 75mm bracket, and HDMI cable lock.
